Establishing National Digital Library Club: Free E-Learning Resources” on 27th October 2021
The Periyar University, Salem and the support of Indian Council of Social Science Research, New Delhi –( MJRP – 13) jointly organized a regional awareness webinar entitled “Establishing National Digital Library Club : Free E-Learning Resources” on 27th October 2021. It was held through an online platform.
Dr. R. Jagannathan, Honourable Vice-Chancellor, Periyar University, Salem inaugurated the webinar. Dr. R. Subramania Bharathy, Associate Professor in Management Studies, Periyar University, Salem highlighted the importance of establishment of a national digital library club for the sake of students as well as faculty members.
In this regard, Dr. M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal, Mrs. S. Usharani, Assistant Professor in Computer Science, Dr. L. Tamilselvi, Assistant Professor in Commerce, Mrs. P. Nandhini, Assistant Professor in Mathematics, Mrs. S. Mythili, Assistant Professor in Tamil, Mrs. S. Malarkodi, Assistant Professor in English, Mrs. K. Gayathri, Assistant Professor in Mathematics, Mrs. R. Sakunthaladevi, Assistant Professor in Physics, Dr. M. Ganga, Assistant Professor in Chemistry, Mrs. A. Kavitha, Assistant Professor in Computer Science and Dr. R. Suba, Assistant Professor in Commerce attended that webinar.
Er. K. Nallusamy, Secretary of the College pointed out the benefits of the National Digital Library Club. Online events can be conducted through the National Digital Library Club platform without the need of any other service, he denoted.
NDLI CLUB
“The National Digital Library of India-Club” (NDLI-C) was launched in our Trinity College for Women from 20.11.2021. The National Digital Library of India is a collaborative programme of the Ministry of Human Resource Development and IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) Kharagpur, West Bengal state. NDLI consists of nearly 5 crore E-resources that can be used. All the faculty members and students of our College should take the requisite benefit from the NDLC, which is a repository of books and other educational content, available on the Digital Format. On this subject, this club was started for the benefit of staff members as well as students of our College.

“Global event on Future of Career in Technology”
Mr. Kishore Balaji, Director – Policy and Technical Affairs for India and South Asia, Intel Corporation delivered a lecture on the topic of “Global event on Future of Career in Technology”on 16th December 2021 @ 6 pm. It telecasted through the platform of https://www/youtube.com/c/ndlindia
It was organized by the central team of NDLI Club. On this subject, nearly 200 NDLI CLUB members of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal enthusiastically took part in that online event.
NDLI – digital contents including articles, books, videos, audios, thesis and other educational materials for the sake of all levels of students, teachers, researchers, librarians, library users, professionals, differently able users and all other lifelong learners.
