SWAYAM – NPTEL Local chapter has been started in Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, Tamil Nadu state
 Local Chapter for NPTEL (National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning) has been established by our Institution of Trinity College for Women (Arts and Science), Namakkal from 4th February 2021, a project initiated and funded by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. NPTEL is a joint initiative between Indian Institute of Technology (IITs), Indian Institute of Management (IIMs), Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and National Institute of Technology (NITs) to offer online courses and certification in basic sciences, management, computer science, humanities, etc.,  (For all courses of Arts and Science).      Our College    SWAYAM – NPTEL Local chapter College ID is 4319 as given by (National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning) NPTEL on 04.02.2021

It permits our students to join in the NPTEL Courses and the certification exam through which the student receives an opportunity to earn a certificate from the Institutions of National Importance such as IIT’s, IIM’s, IIS’s & NIT’s. The main objective of Local Chapter is to furnish wider dissemination of the NPTEL initiatives and integrate MOOCs (MASSIVE OPEN ONLINE COURSES) to mainstream education. The Local Chapter acts as an extended arm of NPTEL. Students of our College are encouraged to enroll in the courses provided in SWAYAM platform under the college local chapter.

This will facilitate our students and faculty members to use NPTEL Videos and Web Contents at our campus and also avail the scholarships for certification exams. Some of the courses offered by NPTEL are leadership, financial accounting, python for data science, operations research, stress management, cloud computing, human resource development, consumer psychology, population studies, etc..,
