TEACHERS DAY DICTUM CONTEST

“Teachers Day Dictum Contest” was held on 5th September 2020.  As a consequence of teacher’s day celebration, this event was held through the social website of Whatsapp. This programme was conducted by the National Service Scheme (NSS) of Trinity College for Women (Arts and Science), Namakkal.      The following 12 students of our College have handpicked for the best presentation.

Senthilkumar, Administrative Officer.  This event was arranged by the NSS  NSS Programme Officers Dr. M. Sasikala and Mrs. S. Jayamathi. 

Teacher’s day (05.09.2021)

Teacher’s day (05.09.2021) was joyfully celebrated at Trinity College for Women, Namakkal on 04.09.2021 in which the Chairman Mr. P.K. Sengodan presided over the events.    This programme was held with maintaining social distance, wearing masks and proper sanitation.   The Principal  Dr. M.R. Lakshiminarayanan rendered the welcome speech. 

        The Secretary of Trinity College for Women (Art and Science) & the former faculty member of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimabtore – Er. K. Nallusamy offered his felcitiation address. Dr. R. Kulandaivel, President, Trinity Academy & Managing Director, Thangam Hospitals and Cancer Centre, Namakkalgraced the occasion.  Dr. R. Kulandaivel in his felicitation briefed the features of Teachers Day and opioned that Teachers are solely responsible for the evolving of an ideal society while they turn an ordinary man to become an achiever and be great. 

Three of the senior staff members of the College Mrs. B. Lena, Assistant Professor in Mathematics, Mrs. R. Navamani, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of BCA & B.Sc., Computer Science and Dr.G. Selvalakshmi, Assistant Professor & Head, PG & Research Department of Commerce who have been serving the institution well for a long period were given mementos and honoured optly.  A debate entitled “The deciding final authorities of students’ bright future are “Teachers or Parents” headed by Dr. Arasuparameswaran, Director – Academic of the College was held in the presence of faculty members and students. 

Dr. M. Sasikala, Assistant Professor & Head, B.Com and B.Com., Computer Applications, Dr. R. Malarvizhi, Assistant Professor & Head, PG Department of Mathematics and Dr. B. Vishnupriya, Assistant Professor in Tamil spoke for Teachers while Mrs. R. Navamani, Assistant Professor & Head, Department of BCA and B.Sc., Computer Science, Dr. L. Tamilselvi, Assistant Professor in Commerce and Mrs. A. Revathi, Assistant Professor in English countered for parents.  It was finally decided that Teachers are the dawn of the world.   Teachers serve as Guide, Philosopher and Friend for the students besides acting as an analyst, an architect, a lighthouse, a well of wisdom, a ladder to grow, a honey bee and a star of hope all the while striving for the development of student-folk in many ways.  Hence, it is a teacher who decides over the bright future of students.   Dr. B. Lakshmi, Assistant Professor & HOD of PG Physics proposed the vote of thanks.  Mrs. V. Gokila, Assistant Professor in Mathematics compiled the entire programme.   Mr. N.S. Senthilkumar, Assistant Professor in Computer Science and Dr. S. Anidha, Assistant Professor in Chemistry spoke on that occasion.
