Faculty participation in the UBA workshop cum Orientation Programme
Under the auspices of UBA Cell, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore (Regional Cooperating Institute of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Cell), conducted a one day regional workshop cum orientation programme on 03rd July 2025 in the premises of Bishop Heber College (Autonomous), Puthur, Tiruchirappalli.
Prof. Dr. E. Somasundaram, Director – Agri Business Development, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore was the special invitee. He spoke the topic titled “Organic farming for rural sustainability”
Dr. C. Vanniarajan, Dean, Anbil Dharmalingam Agricultural College & Research Institute, Dindigul Main Road, Muthukulam, Navalurkottapatti, Trichirappalli delivered the topic entitled “Trichy Agri. Business Incubation Forum – Promoting Entrepreneurship for Rural Villagers through Horticulture Interventions”.
Dr. J. Suresh, Dean, Horticultural College & Research Institute for Women, Dindigul Main Road, Muthukulam, Navalurkottapatti, Trichirappalli delivered the topic titled “Livelihood Development for rural villagers through Horticulture Interventions”.
Dr. J. Princy Merlin, Principal, Bishop Heber’s College (Autonomous), Puthur, Tiruchirappalli presided over the programme. Dr. V. Anand Gideon, Coordinator, Participating Institute, UBA, Bishop Heber’s College welcomed the gathering.
Many Coordinators/Cocoordinators of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Cell in various higher educational Institutions participated in that one day event.
