Field visit for the students of Commerce
Students of the Department of Commerce, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, went on a two-day field visit to Coorg and Chikmagalur in Karnataka state on 08.08.2025 & 09.08.2025. A total of 68 students from B.Com., B.Com., Computer Applications and M.Com., were accompanied by five faculty members; Dr. M. Sasikala (Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Commerce), Dr. G. Sathiya Sangari (Assistant Professor in Commerce), Mrs. M. Rajapadmavathi (Assistant Professor in Commerce), Ms. P. Dhanushiya (Assistant Professor in Commerce) and Mrs. P. Divya (Receptionist of the College).
On the first day (08.08.2025), all the participants saw the golden temple, Chikole dam, Bombo Forest. Harangi Dam, Light Show, DJ and lake rafting in Coorg. .
On the second day (09.08.2025), all the participants went to Chikmangalur. They have viewed places like Sri Statue, Mullayana Giri, Seethalaya Giri, Baba Budan Giri, Shooting Point, Z Point & Suicide Point. Finally, all the above said participants went shopping and purchased some products.
