Awareness programme on “ESI”
The National Service Scheme, The Youth Red Cross, The Red Ribbon Club and Trinity Women’s Forum, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal jointly conducted an awareness programme titled “Employee state insurance – Benefits at a glance” on 12.08.2025. It was held in the seminar hall of the college.
Dr. V. Selvapriya, Medical Practitioner & Mrs. K. Sathya, Staff Nurse, ESI Dispensary, Cauvery Nagar, Trichy Main Road, Namakkal were the resource persons. ESI provides many advantages to employees, including financial and medical support, they said. Also, they explained the significance and nobility of the scheme and highlighted the role of ESI ACT 1948 for social security of employees.
Dr. R. Navamani, Vice-Principal of the College, presided over the programme. The Programme Officers of NSS, YRC, RRC and Trinity Women’s Forum of the College made arrangements.
