Under the auspices of Red Ribbon Club, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal conducted an awareness programme titled “Essential Life Skills for Personal Hygiene” on 17th September 2025 on the college campus.   

          The main aim of the programme is “Empowering young minds with important hygiene practices.” 

          Mrs. E. Mallika,  Counselor, Integrated Counseling and Testing Centre, Government Primary Health Centre, Mohanur, Namakkal District was the resource person. 

          She highlighted the importance of cleanliness, handwashing, hair & nail care, bathing & body care and eating healthy foods.   Also, she explained infectious diseases like Tuberculosis, HIV – AIDS, Dengue, Malaria, chickenpox and so on. 

            Mr. S. Gandhimathinathan, Counselor, Integrated Counseling and Testing Centre, Government Primary Health Centre, Palapatti, Mohanur Block, Namakkal District pointed out the significance of protection of our body against diseases.  

            Dr. S. Kalaivani, Assistant Professor of Chemistry and Coordinator, Red Ribbon Club, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, made arrangements. 

          Nearly 100 students from various departments took part.
