Celebration of National Energy Conservation Day
The Institution’s Innovation Council, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal celebrated the National Energy Conservation Day on 15.12.2025.
Owing to National Energy Conservation Day (14.12.2025), Dr. S. Sandhiya, Assistant Professor in Physics, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal delivered the topic titled “Conservation Practices of soil, water, energy, forest and agriculture – a bird’s eye view” on 15.12.2025.
Raised human population and industrialization densities are leading to speedily increasing use of cultivable land and over-exploitation of natural resources like water, soil, energy, etc. Natural resources conservation is not just a Government’s responsibility. It is a collective effort. Farmers, scientists, society well-wishers and individuals must work together to adopt, promote and encourage sustainable conservation practices, she stated.
More than 100 students took part in that programme.
