SWAYAM Programme
Under the auspices of SWAYAM Cell, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal conducted a SWAYAM – NPTEL programme on 26.12.2025.
Mrs. S. Gayathri, Assistant Professor of English & Member – SWAYAM Cell, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal delivered the topic titled “Beyond the classroom – Bridging academic learning with real world skills and professional competence”.
She explained how the Government of India promotes beyond classroom education through platforms like NDLI, SWAYAM, Etc., Students who are studying for SWAYAM Courses can get special lectures from the subject experts from the IIT (Indian Institute of Technology), IIM (Indian Institute of Management) and renowned universities. These SWAYAM NPTEL courses are very useful to students as well as faculty members. It creates soft skills, communication skills, critical thinking, etc., she said. All the students of English of the College actively participated.
