IIC Programme on “AI Medical Coding”
The Institution’s Innovation Council, in association with the departments of Physics, Chemistry and Nutrition & Dietetics, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, organized a one-day Medical Coding Workshop on “Usage of Artificial Intelligence” on 19th January 2026 in the College campus.
Mr. P. Logeswaran, General Manager and Trainer & Ms. M. Subiksha, Human Resource Executive, Thoughflows, Medical Coding Academy, First Floor, S Square Towers, Omalur Main Road, Arthanari Nagar, Mamangam, Salem were the resource persons.
Artificial Intelligence can process vast amounts of data, recognize patterns and improve decision-making, thus enhancing the overall coding process. AI for medical coding is a transformational force that has increased efficiency, accuracy, and patient care in the health care sector, they pointed out.
The faculty of Physics, Chemistry and Nutrition & Dietetics along with the members of Institution’s Innovation Council & students of the College took part.
