Students and the Coordinator of Electoral Literacy Club participate in the Voters Day Marathon
The Voters Day Marathon was organized by the District Administration, Namakkal, to spread awareness among the public about the need to vote without fail, and to vote in a fair manner. It was held on 25th January 2026. The run was flagged off by Mrs. Durga Moorthy, District Collector, Namakkal.
The rally started at Mother’s Food Centre (Amma Unavagam) and ended at the same place (Via., Selamba Gounder Park, Farmer’s Market, Sri Anjaneyar Temple, Nethaji Statue, Namakkal Old Bus Stand)
. The Superintendent of Police, Namakkal District, Mrs. K. Vimala, the District Revenue Officer, Namakkal District, Mr. M.K. Saravanan, The Project Director for the District Rural Development Agency, Mr. S. Vadivel, Mr. K. Selvarasu, Project Director, Women Self Help Group, Women’s Project, Namakkal, Mrs. V. Santhi, Revenue Divisional Officer, Namakkal, Mr. V. Murugan, District Supply Officer, Namakkal, Mr. C. R. Rajesh Kannan, District Liaison Officer, Anti-Drug & Road Safety Clubs, Namakkal Collectorate, Namakkal District, Mr. P. Mohanraj, Tahsildar, Namakkal Taluk and other officials also took part.
On behalf of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, Dr. R.A. Anitha, Assistant Professor in Tamil & Coordinator – Electoral Literacy Club, Ms. S. Kiruthika, second year B.Sc., Computer Science, Ms. S. Preethi, third year BCA and Ms. V. Mounika Rathi, third year B.Com., also participated in that rally.
