Free Laptop Distribution Programme
The Free Laptop Distribution Programme was held on 09th January 2026 at the venue of Namakkal Government Medical College & Hospital, Namakkal. The programme marked a significant milestone in the Tamil Nadu State Government’s commitment to promoting higher education and digital empowerment among college students. The programme was graced by the presence of the Honourable Minister for Adi Dravidar Welfare, Dr. Maa. Mathiventhan, Mr. K.R.N. Rajeshkumar, Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha, Mr. P. Ramalingam, Member of Legislative Assembly, Namakkal, Mr. D. Kalanithi, Mayor of Namakkal Corporation and Mr. M.K. Saravanan, District Revenue Officer, who distributed free laptops to eligible final year undergraduate students of the College. In this regard, more than 190 students of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal benefited through that programme. They got the free laptop from the chief guests on that day.
Along with the beneficiaries, Dr. S. Anidha, Assistant Professor in Chemistry & NODAL Officer, the faculty members of the College, Dr. T . Geetha (Tamil), Mrs. S. Gayathri (English), Mrs. B. Kavitha (Physics), Dr. S. Kalaivani (Chemistry), Dr. M. Umamageswari (Commerce), Ms. S. Vaishnavi (Costume Design & Fashion), Ms. P. Sri Renugadevi (Nutrition & Dietetics) and Mrs. A. Kavitha & Mrs. M. Kiruthika (Computer Science) also took part in that programme.
In continuation, on behalf of “Naan Mudhalvan”, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, organized a felicitation programme on 30th January 2026 in the College campus. Dr. B. Lena, Assistant Professor & Head, Department of Mathematics, Mr. N. S. Senthilkumar, Administrative Officer as well as department heads, faculty members and the final year undergraduate students (beneficiaries) took part.
In addition to, Dr. M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal, congratulated all the beneficiaries during the College prayer ceremony held on 04th February 2026 in the College premises.
