Thangam Hospitals and Cancer Centre, Namakkal jointly organized an awareness programme titled “Cancer Disease – Symptoms, Causes, Types & Treatments” on 05th February 2026 in the Trinity Auditorium.

Thangam Hospitals and Cancer Centre, Namakkal jointly organized an awareness programme titled “Cancer Disease – Symptoms, Causes, Types & Treatments” on 05th February 2026 in the Trinity Auditorium.

Dr. M. Malliga Kulandaivel, Co-Managing Director & Dr. Aruna Prabhu, Surgical Oncologist, Thangam Hospitals and Cancer Centre, 54, Dr. Sankaran Road, Namakkal were the special invitees.

Dr. Aruna Prabhu delivered an engaging and informative lecture on various aspects of cervical and breast cancer, with the addition of risk factors, symptoms, significance of regular screening, lifestyle modification and early diagnosis.

Dr. M. Malliga Kulandaivel, explained the kinds of cancer, current situation of cancer, screening methods, available medicine and treatments and secondary health issues because of cancer to the participants.
