The Department of Chemistry, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, organized a one-day educational trip to Ootacamund (Ooty) on 06th February 2026. 28 students of Chemistry along with the four faculty members of Chemistry, Mrs. V. Indirakumari, Dr. S. Kalaivani, Ms. K.L. Priyadharshini and Mrs. G. Mahesh went to the Nilgiris District on that day. They have seen the Tea Factory, Chocolate Factory, Pykara Falls, Shooting Point, 9th Mile, Pine Forest/ Gardens, etc., in Ooty and its surrounding areas.
