Industrial Visit – For the students of English

As part of the total learning experience, educational trips provide immersive travel experiences for students. In this regard, three English faculty members (Mrs. G. Kannagi, Ms. S. Kavya, and Ms. M.V. Mekavarshini), along with 26 students of B.A. English and M.A. English from Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, went to Ootacamund (Ooty) on March 13th and 14th, 2026.

On the first day (March 13, 2026), they saw the SIMS Park, Pine Forest, 9th Mile, Pykara Falls, Tea Estate, and Karnataka Garden in Ooty and its surrounding areas.

On the second day (March 14, 2026), they visited the Tea Museum, Doddabetta Peak, Botanical Garden, and attended a campfire in Ooty.

Finally, all the participants purchased household products like handmade chocolates, aromatic Nilgiri tea, fresh spices (cloves & pepper), eucalyptus oil, and woolen shawls, etc.
