Good wishes to Ms. A. Shalini.
On behalf of Periyar University, the Uyir Thuli Trust, Salem, conducted various competitions such as elocution, essay writing, lyrics writing, and drawing on March 19, 2026, at the premises of St. Paul’s Higher Secondary School, Maraveneri, Salem.
Owing to International Women’s Day, this programme was conducted. In this regard, Ms. A. Shalini, a second-year student of B.Sc. Computer Science, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, obtained second position in the elocution competition titled “An Egalitarian Society – Is it a Dream?” (சமத்துவ சமுதாயம் ஒரு கனவா?).
Apart from that, she actively participated in the essay writing competition titled “Women are the nation’s eyes (மகளிர் இந்த நாட்டின் கண்கள்). Ms. A. Shalini is greeted for her continuous participation in various events in and around college.
