Voters Awareness Programme

                          Under the auspices of the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Cell,  National Service Scheme and Electoral Literacy Club, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, orchestrated a one-day extension activity on April 20, 2026, at the UBA networking villages of Vagurampatti, Namakkal Block, Namakkal District.

                The main aim of the program was to create 100% polling for the upcoming election of the Tamil Nadu State Assembly, which will be held on April 23, 2026.
Dr. M. Sasikala, Assistant Professor and Head, Postgraduate and Research Department of Commerce, Programme Officer of the National Service Scheme (Unit 1), Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, and Senate Member, Periyar University, Salem, spoke among the voters of Vagurampatti and its surrounding areas.
Elections are the backbone of our democracy. Voting is an integral part of our country’s republic. It is mandatory for people to have a voice. By voting, we can create change in our society, and we can select a good leader. Each and every voter must cast their vote unfailingly, she said.
