Celebration of World Earth Day
The Eco Green Club, in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council, Internal Quality Assurance Cell, and the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Cell, with the support of the Departments of Chemistry and Commerce, organized a webinar titled “One Tree is Equal to One Oxygen Cylinder” on April 22, 2026. Owing to the observance of World Earth Day, this program was organized.
Dr. M. Umamageswari, Assistant Professor, Postgraduate and Research Department of Commerce, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, was the resource person.
She emphasized the importance of environmental responsibility, sustainability, and productiveness. Also, she elaborated on the environmental and ecological challenges posed by pollution and the urgent necessity to adopt eco-conscious lifestyles. More or less, 100 students as well as faculty members took part.
This programme was organized by the coordinators and the members of Eco Green Club, Institution’s Innovation Council, Internal Quality Assurance Cell and the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Cell, with the association of the departments of Chemistry and Commerce.
