The Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Institute is implementing the Tamil Nadu Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Programme under the “Stand up India Scheme” (நிமிர்ந்து நில்) with the vision of transforming higher education students into innovative entrepreneurs as well as job creators.
In this regard, Entrepreneurs Development & Innovative Institute Tamil Nadu (EDII TN) – Namakkal District, conducted a one-day event “Stand up India Scheme” (நிமிர்ந்து நில்), entitled “Namakkal District Top Level Management Meet 2026-2027″ under the Tamil Nadu Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Programme (TNYIEDP) on 08th June 2026 on the premises of K.S. Rangasamy College of Technology (Autonomous), Tiruchengode, Namakkal District.
Mr S. Martin Ruso, Programme Officer, Tamil Nadu EDII (Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Institute), Chennai, was the chief guest. The main aim of the programme is to engage academic leaders in fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship within their higher educational institutions. The half-day event targets, especially, heads of the institutions, aiming to emphasise the importance of innovation in academia, showcase support from EDII, Tamil Nadu and the Government of Tamil Nadu, facilitate strategic planning and innovation, and build partnerships. Many colleges’ Principals/Deans/Co-ordinators of EDC of Namakkal District took part.
