Both typewriting and computer classes are very essential not only for Government Sector jobs but also for Private Sector jobs. Our learned education is never wasted; it is always helpful in our life journey. Apart from the Periyar University curriculum, the students of Trinity College for Women can take typewriting classes during college working hours. Many of the students of this college who learned typewriting on the college premises during the last session (February 2026) passed in the first class with distinction.    Many of the students come from rural areas. Kindly utilize this opportunity, he said.

For the past one year, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, and M/s. Sri Kalaimagal Technical Institutions, Mohanur, Namakkal, jointly conduct typewriting classes (both Tamil & English) for the benefit of students of the college on the college premises. Apart from the Periyar University syllabus, students can learn these typewriting skills additionally during the college working hours, from 9:40 AM to 3:40 PM. If the college is on holiday, they can choose the Sri Kalaimagal Typewriting Institutions, located in Karur, Namakkal, Mohanur, Kulithalai, Musiri, Thottiyam, Kattuputhur, Velayuthampalayam, P. Velur and so on, he added.

The Coordinator of Value Added Programme, Mrs. S. Bhuvaneswari, the members of VAP Cell, Dr. A. Latha, Ms. K. L. Priyadharshini, S. Gayathri, Mrs. P. Gowthami along with the first year undergraduate students took part in that programme.
