Observation World Population Day
The National Service Scheme & The Youth Red Cross, in association with the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Cell, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, observed World Population Day (11th July). In this regard, the International Population Day Pledge was taken by the students of the College on July 14, 2026. Mrs. V. Gokila, NSS Programme Officer (Unit 2), Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, described the significance of population control, gender equality, and women, empowerment, maternal health, child health, good education, and protection of Environment, and the proper utilization of natural resources.
