            Under the auspices of the Department of Computer Science, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, organized a four day intensive training programme (s) from 13th July 2026 to 16th July 2026.

The resource person, Dr. A. Latha, engaged participants in discussions on effective leadership strategies, task prioritization, and decision-making frameworks.

In addition, she highlighted the importance of updating knowledge of current affairs, vision, the need for motivation skills, social skills, communication skills, self-confidence, integrity, team management, time management, initiative, delegation, adaptability, a growth mindset, developing others, and a positive attitude.

This programme highlighted the significance of women’s empowerment and the achievements of women in different fields.
Higher education is very important for women. Educating women can educate a family. When a woman is empowered, Mother India is also empowered. Now, many women are performing very well in entrepreneurship. As a student, deciding in advance is very important. Plans are nothing, planning is everything, she said.
Apart from that, she pointed out the women’s personalities, like one-rupee idli Paattee Mrs. K. Kamalathal, Coimbatore, women social reformers Moovalur Ramamirtham Ammaiyar, Pakistani Education Activist Ms. Malala Yousafzai, Indian Female Boxer Ms. Mary Kom, differently-abled woman entrepreneur Ms. Gunavathi Chandrasekaran, and the Chief Executive Officer of Nykaa, Ms. Falguni Nayar. Age is no barrier to achievement, she also noted.

Soft skills include good communication skills, teamwork, leadership, emotional intelligence, and problem-solving abilities. Education alone is not enough for today’s competitive world; we need interpersonal skills for immediate placement in renowned organizations. Opportunities are endless; utilize these chances properly, she said.

Mrs. R. Rupa, Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, Mrs. R. Rupa, emphasized the significance of maintaining a balanced and healthy lifestyle in today’s fast-paced world, particularly for students. She also gave some tips for health care, such as consuming less salt and sugar, consuming a healthy diet, reducing the intake of harmful fats, checking blood pressure and sugar levels regularly, cleaning hands properly, and the need for seven to nine hours of sleep every day.
