Alumni Meet cum EDC Programme on “Lean Startup”
The Trinity College Alumni Association, Entrepreneurship Development Cell, Internal Quality Assurance Cell, and Institution’s Innovation Council, in support of the Department of Costume Design and Fashion, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, organized an “Alumni Meet cum Entrepreneurship Development Programme” entitled “Lean Start-up – Strategies for a Modern Boutique” on 20th July 2026 in the College premises.
Ms. K. Nithya, Alumna (B.Sc., Costume Design and Fashion – 2022-2025 batches) and Director, M/s. Nithu Makeover Artist, Kalappanaickenpatti, Sendamangalam Taluk, Namakkal District, was the special invitee.
Starting this boutique business on a small scale could cost between Rs. 2 lakhs and 5 lakhs. We can carry out this work from our homes. Nowadays, many women are selling these textile products both online and offline. If we plan rightly, we can easily implement it, and we can earn substantial profits through that business, she said.
Mrs. A.P. Pavithra, Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Costume Design and Fashion, welcomed the gathering and introduced the chief guest. Mrs. S. Vaishnavi and Ms. Y. Lathika, faculty members of this department made arrangements. All the students of Costume Design and Fashion actively participated.
