Faculty and students participate in the YRC Volunteers Study Camp)
Under the auspices of the Youth Red Cross, Namakkal District, in support of the Indian Red Cross Society – Tamil Nadu Branch, organized a one-day District-level “YRC Volunteers Study Camp” at the premises of the Collector’s Office, Namakkal, on July 30, 2026. Dr. T. Elangovan, Zonal Coordinator – Youth Red Cross, Periyar University, Salem, given the inauguration address. Dr. E.G. Wesely, District Organizer, YRC –Namakkal, welcomed the gathering. Mr. C.R. Rajesh Kannan, Secretary, Red-Cross, Namakkal District highlighted the need of yrc study camp for the programme officers and the volunteers.

Valedictory function was held at 3.30 PM in the campus of Namakkal Collector Officer. Dr. M. Chandrasekaran, YRC Programme Officer, Arignar Anna Government Arts College, Namakkal delivered the welcome address. Mr. G. Madhaiyan, Chairman, Red Cross, Namakkal District gave away certificates. Mr. A.B. Antony Jennit, Treasurer, Red Cross, Namakkal District proposed the vote of thanks.
