Educational Tour
The Postgraduate and Research Department of Tamil, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, organized a two-day educational trip to Munnar and Kochi in Kerala state on July 30 and 31, 2026. Twenty-one students of B.A. Tamil and M.A. Tamil, along with the three faculty members of Tamil (Dr. R. Savithri, Dr. B. Vishnupriya, and Mrs. S. Hemalatha) and the receptionist, Mrs. P. Divya, engaged with the Tamil students.
On the first day (30th July 2026), they went to Munnar. They saw the Photo Point, Elephant Camp, Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, and the view from Top Station. In addition, they rode the Jeep Safari that day.
On the second day (July 31st, 2026), they traveled to the island city of Kochi. On that day, they viewed Vypin Beach and took a trip to DJ Boating and Marine Drive. Besides that, they worshipped at the Chottanikkara Bhagavathy Amman Temple. At the end of the second day, they purchased household and personal materials, such as chappals, shoes, dress materials, and mobile phones.
