Celebration of 21st Graduation Day
The 21st Graduation Day was enthusiastically celebrated at Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, on August 2nd, 2026. It was a remarkable event that celebrated the academic accomplishments of the graduating students. The ceremony took place in Trinity Auditorium at 11 AM. The occasion began with an impressive academic procession, including Er. K. Nallusamy, Chairman; Er. S. Selvaraj, Secretary; Dr. R. Kulandaivel, President, Trinity Academy Matric Higher Secondary School; Mr. PRS. P. Palanisamy, President, Trinity International (CBSE) School; Mr. P. Dhayalan, Transport Director; Trinity Academy Educational Institutions, Dr. M. R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal; heads of various departments; and the distinguished chief guest, Prof. Dr. K. Murugesan, Controller of Examinations (I/c), Periyar University, Periyar Palkalai Nagar, Salem.
The event commenced with the Tamil Thai Vaazhthu. The Principal extended a warm welcome, expressing gratitude to all attendees, especially the graduating students, parents, guardians, the Press and Media, and the college well-wishers. The Principal’s report highlighted the college’s notable academic achievements and progress.
The Chief Guest, Dr. K. Murugesan, congratulated the graduates and urged that the day was not just about awarding degrees but celebrating the resilience, transformation, and achievement of every student. Higher education should not be viewed only as a means to secure employment; instead, it should be seen as a powerful tool to transform society. Women’s higher education is not only beneficial for a particular family, it benefits the whole society. Once upon a time, education for women was out of reach. The social reformer of Tamil Nadu, Thanthai Periyar, insisted that women’s education is very important to our community. Your degree should be useful to our society. For the past three decades, our environment has been increasingly polluted. We should prevent the pollution of air, land, and water. Today, nearly 400 students obtained their degree certificates from me. If each and every new graduate plants at least one sapling and takes care of it, this earth will become cooler, he said. He distributed 398 degree certificates to the Alumni of the College.
