Industrial visit for students of Nutrition and Dietetics
35 students along with the four faculty members of Nutrition and Dietetics (Mrs. R. Rupa, Ms. P. Sri Renugadevi, Mrs. S. Bharathi and Ms. A. Nandhini), Trinity College for Women, Namakkal went on an Industrial Visit on 28th August 2025 at the premises of M/s. SVS & Co, Fiber Industry, Rasipalayam, Mohanur Taluk, Namakkal District.
Mrs. V.S. Suganthi, Director of M/s. SVS & Co. gave a brief introduction about the industry and explained the transformation of banana stem waste, river grass and coconut broom sticks into sustainable and market-ready products to the students and faculty members. In addition, they demonstrated the production of Eco- friendly products like Pooja Basket, Laundry Bin, Fruit Basket, Etc.,
