Anti-Ragging and Sexual Harassment Cell
Ragging of any kind is strictly prohibited on the college premises. Disciplinary action shall be initiated against any student who engages in ragging activities on campus. Any student affected by or subjected to ragging must lodge a written complaint through email, WhatsApp, or personally inform the Principal.
The Sexual Harassment of Women under the Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal) Act in India was enacted in 2013 with threefold purposes:
- Providing protection to female students against sexual harassment at the workplace
- To prevent sexual harassment
- To provide a redressal mechanism for complaints relating to sexual harassment at the workplace
There has been no incidence in this regard for the past 23 years (since the inception of our institution).
However, the Anti-Ragging and Sexual Harassment Cell is functioning in our college.
