Faculty of Trinity College for Women participate in the IIC Regional Meet 2025

The Innovation Cell, All India Council for Technical Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India organized “IIC Regional Meet – 2025” on the premises of PSG College of Arts and Science (Autonomous), Coimbatore on 25th November 2025. 

          Dr. Raghab P. Dash, Advisor – I, AICTE, was the chief guest.   Dr. M. Senguttuvan, Principal Incharge, PSG College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore welcomed the gathering.  Mr. L. Gopalakrishnan, Managing Trustee, PSG & Sons’ Charities, Coimbatore presided over the programme.    Dr. T. Kannan, Secretary of the College, offered the felicitation address.  Dr. S. Vincent, Member Secretary, Tamil Nadu State Council for Science & Technology, Chennai, Mr. Lakoka M. Subramaniam, Chairman, Franstek Belts (P) Ltd., Goa (An Indo-Italian Joint Venture), Coimbatore and Dr. K. Alagarsamy, Director, Consortium for Technical Education, Coimbatore delivered the special addresses.    Dr. N. Krishnaveni, IIC Convenor, PSG College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore proposed the vote of thanks. 

          The various innovative activities, such as product demonstration/exhibition of YIC/APF Innovations, display of IIC posters by IIC Institutions, and the Swadeshi Udyami Bazaar (Entrepreneurship Markets) stalls on the theme of “Vocal for Local” were held on that occasion.  

Apart from that, various IIC events like knowledge/best practice sharing sessions by IIC institutions, training on trainers (TOT) programme for Innovation Ambassadors, Two Masterclasses by Eco YUKTI Innovation Challenge Innovators & Early Stage Entrepreneurs,  IIC structure for institutionalizing  innovation incubation & entrepreneurship, key innovation strategies and structured approaches for building innovation and start-up ecosystem in HEI,  TRL, IRL & MRL (Technology Readiness Level, Investment Readiness Level & Manufacturing Readiness Level), role of innovation ambassador for driving IIC, Hybrid role of Innovation Ambassador, Legal Entity Compliance, Yukti Innovation & IPR Repository Innovation Pipeline, Mentorship techniques for IAs to Guide and Support Innovators & Startups, Role of Mentor IIC and Linkage with  schools, Innovation schemes for iic institutions, etc., were held on that moment. 

On behalf of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal (C9496), Mrs. R. Rupa, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Nutrition and Dietetics & Coordinator of IIC-Innovation & Dr. K. Gowrimala, Assistant Professor of English & Member of the Institution’s Innovation Council took part.   Both the faculty members are greeted.
