First-Year Postgraduate Courses – Inauguration Programme

The Postgraduate Programs of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, for the academic year 2026-2027 commenced today (12th August 2026) with an inaugural ceremony. The Principal, Dr. M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, delivered the welcome address. He highlighted that the college offers value-added skill development programs like typewriting (both Tamil and English), obtaining two-wheeler and light motor vehicle licenses, tailoring courses, beautician courses, diet food preparation, such as millet food preparations, soap making (both bath and wash), shampoo making, preparation of liquid products like dish wash, detergent, phenyl, and candle making, Tally courses, usage of Artificial Intelligence Techniques, Computer Office Automation, Income Tax Return Filing procedures, including the filing of Goods and Services Tax, guidance for obtaining a GST Number, PAN Number, and TAN number, etc.

Mrs. Aruna Selvaraj, Executive Director of the College, presided over the program. Apart from that, it is praiseworthy that many students from other colleges continue their postgraduate courses in our college. Opportunities are endless; many employment opportunities are waiting for you. You have to update yourself on current affairs as well as your subject, she said.

Dr. N. Elamathi, HOD of Postgraduate Computer Science at the College, proposed the vote of thanks.

The various department heads, Dr. R. Navamani (UG Computer Science), Dr. T. K. Anuradha (PG & Research Department – Tamil), Dr. R. Savithri (UG Tamil), Mrs. R. Rupa (Nutrition & Dietetics), Mrs. A.P. Pavithra (Costume Design and Fashion), Mrs. G. Kannagi (English), Mrs. V. Indirakumari (Chemistry), Mrs. B. Kavitha (Physics), Mrs. V. Gokila (HOD I/c. of Mathematics), Mrs. V. Archana, Physical Directress, and faculty members of the various departments, along with the first-year postgraduate students, took part in that occasion.

During the feedback session, many first-year postgraduate students reported positive outcomes regarding the College.
