Alumni Meet
The Institution’s Innovation Council, in association with the Department of Costume Design and Fashion and the Trinity College Alumni Association, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, organized an Alumni Meet on March 30, 2026, on the College premises. The former student of B.Sc., Costume Design and Fashion (2022-2025), Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, and the Apparel Designer & Product Developer of Mosegi India, Kudlu Main Road, Bengaluru, Ms. Safa Arif, was the resource person.
She delivered a presentation on the topic Legal & Ethical Steps for Women Entrepreneurship in Computer-Aided Design. Computer-Aided Design is an essential part of the textile industry. CAD/CAM knowledge is purely technical and innovative. A plethora of job opportunities are available to this CAD/CAM expert, she said. Also, she explained CAD software like CorelDraw, Photoshop, TUKA TECH, AutoCAD, Polygon, etc.
Mrs. A.P. Pavithra, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Costume Design and Fashion, introduced the chief guest and highlighted the significance of Computer-Aided Design for the garment industry.
Ms. S. Prathishka, Lab Assistant, along with the students of Costume Design and Fashion of the College, actively took part.
