“Amelioration of organic farming – an event of sale of organic green leaves” (Outturn from Trinity Garden – Campus of periphery of the College) on 18.05.2023.

Sale of organic green leaves       

Eco Green Club, in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell and Institution’s Innovation Council and in cooperation with the department of Nutrition & Dietetics and the department of Physics, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal organized a programme, with the title of “Amelioration of organic farming – an event of sale of organic green leaves” (Outturn from Trinity Garden – Campus of periphery of the College) on 18.05.2023.

  This Trinity Garden is maintained by the department of Physics.  

The various green leaves like lettuce, fermented spinach, black nightshade, dwarf copper leaves, etc., were sold to the promoters of Trinity Academy and the faculty of the College.

        For the purpose of promoting organic farming, this event was held.  The Promoters and the faculty members happily purchased these organic green leaves.

Indirakumari, The faculty of Nutrition and Dietetics Mrs. R. Rupa, Ms. P. Sri Renugadevi, Mrs. V. Sowmiya, the faculty of Commerce Dr. S. Devi, Dr. R. Suba also took part in that programme.  

        Organic farming helps us to reduce water pollution;   we consume tasty food and safeguard our health, Secretary Er. K. Nallusamy pointed out.
