Best wishes to Ms. S. Bavadharani
As a consequence of the Tamil Culture and Heritage of Pongal Festival, the Ilavatta Kal competition (A type of round stone used to test physical strength) was held on 16th January 2025 in the venue of Weavers Colony, Tiruchengode Town, Namakkal District. Not only men, many women also actively participated in that competition. Ms. S. Bavadharani, First year B.A., Tamil, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, enthusiastically took part, lifted 67 kg Ilavatta Kal and got the first prize.
