            As a part of Naan Mudhalvan, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal conducted a nine week programme titled “Organic Food Production Techniques” on 13th February, 20th February,  27th February, 6th March, 12th March, 19th March and 5th April 2024.  

   Mr. S. Arunakumar, Research Scholar in Seed Science and Technology, Trainer, Rare Minds, Bengaluru was the invited speaker.  

He explained the various organic food production techniques like crop rotation, soil management, compost, green manure, livestock, pest control, weed management, integrated organic farming, mulching, etc., Besides that, he explained the various methods, principles, practices and advantages of organic food production.  

 All the final year students of B.Sc., Nutrition & Dietetics along with Ms. P. Sri Renugadevi, Assistant Professor in Nutrition and Dietetics, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal,  took  part in that programme.
