Naan Mudhalvan Programme on “Food Safety”
As a part of Naan Mudhalvan, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, conducted the Naan Mudhalvan Programme titled “Food Safety and Quality Management” on 03rd February, 14th February, 20th February, 26th February, 04th March, 17th March, 25th March, 28th March and 01st April 2025.
Mr. S. Gowtham, Trainer, Parmagenie, Chennai, was the resource person;
He elucidated various topics related to food safety and food management, like food processing companies in Tamil Nadu state and India, job description required for food analyst, food safety auditors, ISO 22000, 2018 food safety management system, principles of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), reasons for food contamination, foodborne illness, risks of food adulteration, food quality management, audit report for food safety, functions of quality systems, change control deviation, CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions), root cause investigation, etc.,
