Grama Sabha Meet
As part of the Independence Day Celebrations, the students and faculty representatives of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Cell, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal (C9496) participated in the Grama Sabha Meet held on 15th August 2025 @ UBA network villages of Aniyapuram, Parali, Tholur and Pettapalayam, Mohanur Block, Namakkal District.
Discussions covered, like, Jal Jeevan Mission, Swachch Bharat Abhiyan, Anaithu Grama Anna Marumalarchi Thittam, Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment and Guarantee Act, the need for maintenance of public wells, tanks and other rural development schemes like, to ameliorate village infrastructure, consistent supply of electricity and preserving roads, etc.,
Dr. R. Navamani (UBA network village representative of Pettapalayam), Dr. A. Latha (UBA network village representative of Parali), Mrs. D. Prabha (UBA network village representative of Tholur) and Mrs. S. Hemalatha (UBA Cell Coordinator of the College – Network village of Aniyapuram) along with the students’ representatives took part.
