First year undergraduate inauguration function
At Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, the inaugural celebration of the first year undergraduate courses for the academic year 2025-2026 was held on the premises of the seminar hall on 27th June 2025.
The event began with a prayer song (Tamil Thai Vazhthu) by the participants. Dr. M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal, delivered a heartfelt and gracious welcome address, extending a warm reception to the management, first year students along with the various department heads and faculty members.
Er. K. Nallusamy, Chairman of the College, presided over the programme. “Best wishes to all of you who have finished your school education and are now stepping into college life”, he said. Also, he asks the students to utilise our college infrastructure facilities, digital library, etc.
Er. S. Selvaraj, Secretary of the College, delivered the felicitation address. Hard work never fails. Dedication, strategic management and patience are needed in the current trends, he said. Also, he stressed the idea that “non-stop, continuous and patient efforts will surely lead to achieving one day.”
English communication skills as well as subject knowledge are very important for all students. They have to update your subjects, and you have to learn at least five new words in English daily, Mrs. Aruna Selvaraj, Executive Director stated in her felicitation address.
The Principal introduced all the heads of department to the first year students.

Savithri (Undergraduate Tamil), Dr. M. Sasikala (Commerce), Dr. B. Lena (Mathematics), Dr. B. Lakshmi (Physics), Mrs. G. Kannagi (English), Mrs. V. Indirakumari (Chemistry), Mrs. R. Rupa (Nutrition & Dietetics), Mrs. A.P. Pavithra (Costume Design & Fashion), The Physical Directress, Mrs. V. Archana, Dr. M. Selvi, Librarian, faculty members, non-teaching staff members and the students of first year undergraduate students participated in that programme.
