Best wishes to the student’ participants for “My Bharat Budget Quiz – 2026″
The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, in collaboration with “My Bharat”, conducted a national-level quiz entitled “My Bharat Budget Quest – 2026” in February 2026. The main aim of this initiative is to encourage youth participation in submitting innovative ideas and perspectives on the Viksit Bharat Budget 2026. The platform provides an excellent opportunity for students to engage in meaningful dialogue and contribute their thoughts toward nation-building. More than 1.2 million youth from 28 states and 12 union territories of India participated in that online event. Notably, many youth from the states of Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and West Bengal actively took part.
On behalf of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, 433 students participated in the first round (Quiz Program). They received appreciation certificates from the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. 36 students of the college took part in the second round, and 4 students took part in the third round. Besides that, Mrs. P. Madhupriya, Assistant Professor of Commerce at the College, also took part in the three-round online quiz events.
In continuation, a felicitation function was held on June 19, 2026, on the college campus. Er. K. Nallusamy, Chairman, Er. S. Selvaraj, Secretary, Mrs. Aruna Selvaraj, Executive Director, and Dr. M. R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal, participated and conveyed their best wishes to the student participants and the members of the Viksit Bharat Cell (Mrs. M. Rajapadmavathi, Coordinator; Members of VBC: Mrs. K. Padmavathi (Tamil), Ms. M. V. Mekavarshini (English), Dr. S. Jeyanthi (Mathematics), Mrs. B. Kavitha (Physics), Ms. M. Rineesha (Chemistry), Dr. K. Vijayakumari (Computer Science), Ms. P. Sri Renugadevi (Nutrition and Dietetics), and Ms. S. Prathishka (Costume Design and Fashion).
