Census 2027 Field Functionaries Training Program

The Department of Revenue, Namakkal District, organized a one-day Census 2027 – Field Functionaries Training Programme for Supervisors and Enumerators” at the seminar hall premises of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, on September 16, 2026.

Mr. M. G. Saravanan, District Census Officer & District Revenue Officer, Namakkal, inaugurated the program in the presence of Mr. P. Arul, Tahsildar, Namakkal Taluk, Mr. A. Selvaraj, Special Tahsildar, Census, Namakkal and Mr. R. Gobinath, Senior Revenue Inspector, Namakkal.

Mrs. Biji Sri, Assistant Director, Office of the Director of Census Operations, Chennai, The RTO & DCO interacted with the participants and emphasized the significance of quality data collection, dedication, and effective field implementation for the successful conduct of Census 2027.

Dr. M. R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal, Trinity College for Women, and the revenue officials, including the Village Administrative Officers of Namakkal and Mohanur Taluks, took part on that occasion.   This programme was organized by the department of Computer Science of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal.
