Citizen Consumer Competitions
Due to National Consumer Day and World Consumer Rights Day (March 15th), The Department of Civil Supplies & Consumer Protection, Namakkal District, organized “Citizen Consumer Competitions’ on 13th March 2026. It was held on the premises of District Collector Office, Namakkal.
In this regard, Ms. A. Shalini, second year B.Sc., Computer Science, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal secured the first position in the elocution competition and Ms. S. Mangaikkarasi, third year B.Sc., Computer Science procured the first position in the drawing competition.

During the felicitation function held on that day, Mrs. Durga Murthy, District Collector, Namakkal presided over the programme. She gave away appreciation certificates along with the prizes to the achievers.

Natesan, Consumer Organization, Animur, Tiruchengode Taluk, Mr. G. Palanivel Rajan, Kaniyachi Thottam, Eachampatti, Sendamangalam Taluk, Mr. R. Kesavan,President, Muthugapatti Consumer Protection Association, Mr. C.R. Rajesh Kannan, District Public Relations Officer, Citizen Consumer Club, Namakkal and other officials took part.
Apart from the above said students (Ms. S. Mangaikkarasi and Ms. A. Shalini), 19 students of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal took part in that programme.
