Competitions on “AI”
The Department of Computer Science, in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council and Internal Quality Assurance Cell, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, organized a one-day program titled “NEXTGEN GAMING FEST” (Step into the world of intelligence, strategy, and fun – where AI meets play) on July 22, 2026, in the College premises. Dr. M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal of the College, inaugurated the program and highlighted the role of Artificial Intelligence in the development of our society. The various games included Spot the AI (Find the AI in disguise), AI Blitz (Fast minds, faster answers), Reality Rush (Dive into the virtual world), AI Detective (Clues, logic, & smart thinking), Brain Buffer (Memory test like never before), Outlier Quest (Find the one that does not belong), and Word Wizard (Words with Wonder) were held. All the final year students (both B.Sc., Computer Science, and M.Sc., Computer Science) of the College handled the classes and conducted those AI games for the first year students of B.Sc., Computer Science, BCA, B.Sc., Computer Science., Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, and the second year students of B.Sc., Computer Science, BCA, and B.Sc., Computer Science., Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.
The faculty members of Computer Science, Dr. N. Elamathi, Dr. R. Navamani, Mrs. S. Bhuvaneswari, Dr. A. Vijayasarathi, Mrs. S. Priya, Mrs. K. Mekala, Mrs. K. Malathi, Mr. N. S. Senthilkumar, Mrs. A. Kavitha, Dr. K. Vijayakumari, Mrs. D. Prabha, Mrs. V. Gayathri, Mrs. M. Kiruthika, Dr. K. Suganya, Mrs. P. Navajyothi, and Ms. J. Dharshini also took part and encouraged the student participants.
