Drug Awareness Programme
The Anti-Drug Club, in association with the National Service Scheme, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, organized a programme titled “Drugs destroy our dreams – We are not addicted to drugs” on 27th August 2026, in the College premises.
Dr. M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal, presided over the programme.
Dr. R. Navamani, Vice-Principal and Head of the Department, Undergraduate Computer Science & Computer Applications, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, was the resource person. The use of drugs annihilates not only our family, but also society. India’s power lies in its younger generations. Unfortunately, many younger generations are addicted to drug products, she said. Our society needs a drug-free society, she stressed. In addition, she explained the need for drug free Tamil Nadu software for students.
Dr. S. Jayanthi, Coordinator, Anti-Drug Club, Mrs. V. Gokila, , NSS Programme Officer (Unit 1) of the College, made arrangements.
