Observation of world cancer day
Due to World Cancer Day, the NSS, YRC, and RRC of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, and in support of the Thangam Hospitals and Cancer Centre, Namakkal, conducted a cancer awareness program on February 4, 2023, in the villages of Thottipatti and Thanneerpandal, Namakkal Block, Namakkal District.
Mr. R. Kulandaivel, Managing Director, Thangam Hospitals and Cancer Centre, Namakkal, delivered a lecture on cancer and its prevention in a public gathering along with the volunteers of the National Service Scheme, the Youth Red Cross, The Red Ribbon Clob, and the people of those villages.
Er. K. Nallusamy, Chairman, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal presided over the programme. Mrs. Aruna Selvaraj, Executive Director of the College offered her felicitation address. Dr. M. Sasikala and Mrs. S. Jayamathi, NSS Programme Officers of the College made arrangements.
