Educational Trips
57 students of Commerce (first-year B.Com., first-year B.Com. Computer Applications, second-year B.Com, final-year B.Com. B.Com. Computer Applications, and M.Com.), along with the five faculty members of Commerce (Dr. M. Sasikala, Dr. G. Sathiya Sangari, Dr. S. Devi, Dr. M. Umamageswari, and Mrs. A. Rajeswari), went to Chidambaram in Cuddalore District and Poompuhar in Mayiladuthurai District for a one-day educational trip on 20th August 2026.
They saw the Pichavaram Mangrove Forest, Poompuhar Beach, Poompuhar Maritime Museum, and Poompuhar Silapathikaram Art Gallery. Besides that, they worshipped the gods at the Thillai Natarajar and Thillai Kaliyamman temples. All the participants mentioned that this educational tour was very satisfying for them and that they learned about the benefits of the Pichavaram Mangrove Forests.
