Grama Sabha Meeting in UBA adopted villages
In view of the International Workers Day/May Day, Grama Sabha Meeting was held on 01.05.2023 in various villages in Tamil Nadu state.
On this subject, representatives of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Cell and a few students of our College (Trinity College for Women, Namakkal) have taken part in the UBA adopted villages of Namakkal District, like Pettapalayam, Tholur, Parali, Aniyapuram and Vaguramapatti.
Mrs. Shreya P. Singh, District Collector of Namakkal was the chief guest of the Grama Sabha Meet of Pettapalayam village in Mohanur Block, Namakkal district.
The various issues were discussed viz, distribution of drinking water, Village Panchayat Development Plan, All villages Anna Renascence Scheme (அனைத்து கிராம அண்ணா மறுமலர்ச்சி திட்டம்), Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme, Prime Minister Rural Housing Scheme, Prime Minister’s Awas Yojana Gramin, Jal Jeevan Mission, Swachch Bharat Abhiyan, Solid Waste Management, Plastic waste management, etc.,
