IIC Online Programme on “Atal Innovation Mission”

The Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell, All India Council for Technical Education, organized a virtual program entitled “Initiatives and programs to support innovation in higher educational institutions (HEIs) Atal Innovation Mission”  – NITI Aayog on August 25th, 2026. The main aim of the session was to explore initiatives that empower institutions to build a stronger culture of innovation, entrepreneurship, and startup growth.    Dr. Dipan Sahu, Assistant Innovator, Ministry of Education, Innovation Cell, AICTE, was the resource person.

In India, 85 Atal Incubator centers have been established in 18 states and 3 union territories. India needs job creators, not job seekers. Innovation and technology updates are very important for entrepreneurs, he said. He also highlighted the role of the Atal Innovation Mission, infrastructure support for mentorship, access to funding, networking opportunities, and so on.   All the students watched the online program through the College’s ICT halls.  Mrs. B. Kavitha, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Physics, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, made the arrangements.
