The Institution Innovation Council, MOE’s Innovative Cell, All India Council for Technical Education and PSNA College of Engineering & Technology, Dindigul, Tamil Nadu state jointly organized a “IIC – Regional Meet (Southern Zone) on 8th August 2022 at the venue of SRL Auditorium, PSNA College of Engineering and Technology, Dindigul.
Smt. Mamta Rani Agarwal, Advisor of All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi presented the chief guest address. Dr. R. Srinivasan, Member Secretary, Tamil Nadu State Council for Science & Technology, Chennai delivered the inaugural address.
Shri. Dipan Kumar Saliu, Assistant Innovative Director, MOE Innovation Cell & AICTE, New Delhi delivered the keynote address. IIC is an essential for higher educational institutions. It is to uplift and encourage, inspire and nurture young students and faculty members by supporting them to work with new ideas and transform them into prototypes, we should motivate our youngsters for new inventions in all the fields, he said.
Mr. Yogesh Wadhwani, AO, Finance Bureau, Mr. Surendar, Start-up Fellow, MOE’s Innovation Cell and Mr. Ranganath Ojha, Software Developer, MOE’s Innovation Cell, Mrs. K. Dhanalakshmi, Chairperson, Rtn Mr. R.S.K. Raguram, Pro Chairman and Dr. D. Vasudevan, Principal of PSNA College of Engineering Technology, Dindigul took part.
On behalf of Trinity College for Women, Ms. S. Poornima, Assistant Professor in English/NODAL Officer/Incharge of IIC of the College participated in that event.
More than 500 faculty members and students of various Institutions attended that event. Innovation & start-ups were demonstrated from the several institutions of IIC in various regions. Apart from that an impact session on IIC Model, Policy Awareness, Yukti National Innovation Repository, Participatory Approach, Knowledge Sharing Session, etc., were held on that occasion.
