Pledge on “World Mother Language Day”
International Mother Language Day is commemorated on February 21 every year to promote linguistic and cultural diversity and multilingualism worldwide. In this regard, all the volunteers of the National Service Scheme, Trinity College for Women, Namakkal, took a mother language day pledge of Tamil on 21st February 2025 in the College premises. Mrs. V. Gokila, NSS Programme Officer, read out the World Mother Language Day pledge: “Tamil everywhere, Anything in Tamil and Tamil always. We will sign all the documents in Tamil. Let’s name the children in Tamil. Let’s save Tamil with the internet”. This programme was organized by the National Service Scheme of the College.
