Industrial visit for Nutrition and Dietetics students of Trinity College for Women (21.11.2022) 

            The bakery industry in India is the largest of the food processing segment.   India is the second largest producer of biscuits in the world.    On this subject, the students of Nutrition and Dietetics of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal went for an industrial visit to M/s. Sumathi Sweets and Bakery, Near Karur Integrated Textile Park, Valluvar Nagar, Madurai Bye-pass Road, Karur on 21st November 2022.   Students of Nutrition and Dietetics were taken around the manufacturing plant and the staff of the concern explained about the production and packing process of bakery products.

            In this regard, the following 27 students of Nutrition and Dietetics enthusiastically took part.
