Launching of Naan Mudhalvan Scheme (I am the first)

 

·         The honourable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Mr. M.K. Stalin launched a training module under the “Naan Mudhalvan Scheme – (நான் முதல்வன் – I am the first) on 29th August 2022 (Monday).

During the event at Kalaivanar Arangam, Walajah Road, Triplicane, Chennai, a MOU was signed between the Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation, a total of 47 organizations to develop the skill of students pursuing higher education, in the presence of the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.

Under the Naan Mudhalvan Scheme, students, even in the first semester, would be offered English communication courses in all the higher educational Institutions.   In addition, English students could also pursue German, Japanese and French Language, The CM said.

Iraianbu, The Principal Secretaries to Government  Mr. T. Udhayachandran & Dr. D. Karthikeyan, The Managing Director of Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation Ms. J. Innocent Divya,  Mr. N. Muruganandam, Principal Secretary, Finance Department, The Director of Indian Institute of Technology – Madras  Prof. V. Kamakoti, The Chairman of Tamil Nadu State Council Mr. Satyakam Arya, Vice-Chancellors, Registrars, Deans and senior faculty members of various Universities, Principals of various Colleges of Tamil Nadu spoke on that occasion.

The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu launched the website www.naanmudhalvan.tn.gov.in – Naan Mudhalvan Up skilling platform on this occasion.   Utilizing this website students can undergo psychometric tests and know information    about free courses which provide domain special skill assessment modules to the students and help them understand their skill gap.

In this website launching ceremony, Dr. M.R. Lakshiminarayanan, Principal of Trinity College for Women, Namakkal took part.
